You would say that should be a nail in his football career. Then again if Nile Ranger is anything to go by he will probably get a deal with Southend out of this.

Obtaining a bank card off a friend so he could breach anti gambling laws is bad enough, for it to turn out that card has been scammed from an old man. Revolting if found guilty.

I'm sure Still said in an interview that he tried to bring him back but he preferred the idea of being part time. Sounds like a lucky escape.

Sloppy reporting. Case not "dismissed", the jury failed to agree on a verdict. The prosecution have until Friday to indicate whether a retrial will be sought. Presumably there will be a hearing on Friday where either a retrial will be requested or no evidence offered.
