Predictable that people talk to me and tell me stuff that they don't want shared on a public forum? Yeah.

But didn't someone last week accuse me of posting drivel when I hinted that Glyn had gone?
Anyway, I'm standing back from this discussion because I'd rather save my energy for what is to come.

If someone pulling financial support can cause us to fall in the shit so quickly to a point that sale/gift of players can't solve it then things must be a lot worse than we were originally told. The original story sounded like some money to bring in a handful of extra players to boost our promotion bid rather than bankrolling the whole operation.

Regardless of what happens Tamplin was a circus act and should not even be part of the discussion. I couldn't care less what happens at Billericay it is a hollow vanity project.

No we have lectures about Flags and the damage it has done to suffer first.

We can take it as read then that by Auntie Merge comments that there is more to come.

MTD has exposed me as an appalling speller, well highlighted it anyway.

Now I might not be able to spell but i certainly can add up and now Arthur Daley has left the room I calculate that we are heading towards a financial crisis.

We await the spin and developements with interest.

Please save us posters from Tamplins tweets who is
rather enjoying this with extracts others are posting on other outlets

Whatever is happening (and the lack of communication - which is poor) it certainly doesn't look good.

Very worried.

Yup you do talk drivel when you keep saying the flags are part of the blame for Glyn walking away and note there is still no statement from the club or anywhere else at the moment so it still speculation.

Most were wary or objected to Tamplin. Fair enough, and time will tell with Billericay on that one, although some don't like his style anyway, I get that.

But others were treating Hopkin like a God without knowing much about him either. So he didn't tweet loads and have lots of tattoos, but that doesn't make him anymore likely to make good or bad decisions relating to a football club. And the key point with not being a members club anymore was that this could essential happen at any point.

But why Hopkin getting cold feet, vanishing or doing whatever is Thompson's fault is something I can't work out.
That third paragraph was essentially the point I was trying to make. Well said.

I also rememebr your ‘we are so lucky to have Glyn. He’s saved us. Unlike Tamplin who would have walked away at the first sign of bother’ thread. That went well for you didn’t it.

Can I ask why?

Surely going bust would be the worst case scenario, no?

I just love the way most people ridiculed Tamplin for his possible takeover of our club.
People whom have never met the man, spoke to him were very quick to jump on the bandwagon. He was despised by most and the devil incarnate. And yet his team are top of their league by a country mile have practically a new ground and will be promoted at a canter. Think of him what you may, but he has, like it or not, put his money where his mouth is. How long it will last, nobody can tell.
He may well be an egotistical megalomaniac, but at least you know what's going on there. Our club is like Fort Knox, impenetrable, save for a few scraps of info and the usual bout of hot air.

Football Was once a competitive sport, even now at our level it has become a competition of who has the most money wins. See Crawley, Fleetwood, Burton and Forest Green as examples of how this league has been ruined over the past few years. Sick of hearing about Premier League Bournemouth being a fairy tale, it's not just like Wigan it will soon go belly up.

Had Tamplin took over we would have become a laughing stock and hated by the rest of any proper football fans left, losing any credibility we had built up over the years. I for one would have no longer been attending. AFC Dagenham over any of that nonsense anyday.

With all these rumours going about I had a look on DiggerDagger .com to see if he had world exclusive interview from someone in the know but there wasn`t, no new postings since 26/10/17 ,oh well back to the rumour mill.

Just had a thought he should interview Auntie Merge as she knows everything that goes on.
