Or, if you are stuck in the past, we are playing away to Hereford United (who dissolved in 2014): https://www.daggers.co.uk/news/-KzxZyR6B-20cVHse4eQ

Wonder what Cockney Byrites and Dr Monkatron think of this.

Playing a team in form, doing well in their league and in the cups. Very tough game.

It maybe tough but on paper it shouldnt be. We should have enough quality to come through this tie imo.

Well that should be a good trip away always fancied going back here again although not the original cast (United), saw this lot take on a local side to me two weeks back at Potters Bar Town and from what I saw our boys should tank em, although they had a mare getting there, coach delayed no normal start and turned out a late night, their centre forward looks a threat though reminds me a bit of Denton at Halifax, should be an exciting day because they really get a good following at home and atmosphere should be good, I remember walking through a cattle market to get to Edgar Street!

Expect a handful of first team players and a defeat. See last season trophy run as an example. No thanks to this trip.

Can't remember when we last played Hereford, but the market only properly closed around 2011 I think, so quite likely it was still there last time a lot of our fans visited. It's actually moved to some high tech out of town site now I think I remember reading.

Some mixed memories of trips to Edgar Street. A late loss which actually cost us the title on a Tuesday in April 2002, a thumping loss in maybe 2008 (4-0 was it), the roof being blown off and waiting five hours for a train back and then a brilliant 1-0 win in the sleet in about 2005 or 2006?? Doubt I will travel for this one though I have to say!!
