Whatever happens the club will never be the same again.

That may well be true, but the way things have been going in recent years it's been depressing to say the least!

Sorry but like Tamplin or not, looking at those two bids there is only one winner in my eyes. His consortium blows the other out of the water.

Tamplin is lending money to quite a few people.

Good luck to the The daggers consortium let's hope the members see through the other nonsense. If you don't get the vote I hope you stay around.

It might be hearsay and rumour, but I have been led to believe that if the Easts consortium loses, they will be told they are not welcome in the club ever again.
I wonder if this is why someone left them and backed the other side.

We're going to the dogs whatever happens I think. Sad times for our club.

Hope this is not true, if it is I might just have to join them. Sad state of affairs. One thing is for sure I won't be putting another penny in.

If you think it might be hearsay and rumour, shouldn't you refrain from posting it?

I've heard it from more than one source. I have heard many other things which I have refrained from posting.

Who is it that has said this? Another person who is willing to come out with a story that they won't put their name to? If anyone is going to come out with statements like this they really need to have something to add weight to its credibility, or else no one is going to believe it. Others might even think it is- dare I say it- childish...

Another below the belt rumour with nobody willing to put their name to the story.

Posting stuff like this weakens the credibility of the good points made by the anti-Tamplinists.

As NBDag says, it's simply childish.

I don't see anything childish about people afraid to put their name to things because they are scared of repercussions; I would say quite the opposite. i am trying to make people come forward and speak out in public but they do not wish to.

Mike has contacted me to say that he has asked Tamplin for a comment on this rumour for Diggerdagger.com. Tamplin has said that it is untrue and that he wants more, not less, people coming to the club. Mike will write it up next week, as he's just getting on a plane.
