I know the comments later will be all about a brilliant win for the club against a decent side, but one special mention goes out today for Southport... took a strong Derby team, scoring at will this season to the 90 something minute before getting knocked out of the Cup to a late, late penalty... did the competition justice since dispatching us over two games and were close to being the only Non-League team in the next round draw...
Anyway, great result today... will happily admit I had my pre-game preiction come back to me in a 70th minute nightmare when I saw Boucard and Batt come on as I was terrified we would drop back and get overrun... but credit where credit is due... another massive three points and back out of the bottom two
