We could have got something but they were a different class to us and looked like they were playing well within themselves.

Considering the conditions out there thought we got a decent attacking game, real shame that their two goals were basically gifted, a forceful par off byJustham to the wrong player and what was the eventual winner still not sure about that defensive calamity mix up, o.g? Lads did put up some real effort and to think Effiong had two great chances that he really should have buried, in some areas we were very good, Hill's goal was taken superbly, but notice how well the Spireites feed out from long distances to their wingers and move in so fast with real threat, that penalty miss almost bought the crossbar down, full mind focus now on putting Oxford deeper in trouble cause those 3 points Saturday are so important.

That’s two games this season we’ve more than competed with the side who will win the league with 10 games to spare, they have 2 or more level above players for every position and we barely have one decent player for each position at this level, superb effort and in the end that quality got them over the line.

Onto Saturday now and it’s a must win looking at the league table now having played more games than most of those below us, a win puts as well clear of Oxford and you could say that once less space to worry about.

A great effort from the team but with special mention to Kedwell and Appiah-Forson who were both excellent. What we need now is three points against Oxford City on Saturday.
