Kendall gone

Just seen Charley Kendall gone over to Woking, pretty much no surprise there as pretty much an invisible player to our forward line. As a deeper thought though just wonder for whatever reason why players leave here and take off to a different level? Whether that happens here we shall certainly see?

Who leaves here and takes off to a different level apart from Paul Mc who will be quiet for a Eastleigh once his contract is running down. Who else has left here and taken off recently? That’s been our problem the last few years relying on journeymen who are on their way down and not hungry.

Good luck to Kendall, but not sad to see him leave strikers need to score goals and he just didn’t, too lightweight for this league.

At first Kendall seemed to cause a lot of problems with his tenacity despite his lack of goals. This gradually faded too, to a point where he was absolutely anonymous in his later appearances. Not sure if he's physically or mentally jaded by how shit we are, or whether he just had enough. Whatever the reason he was never going to do anything here, good luck to him at Woking. We need better and we need it very soon.

Woking paid a fee.
Kendall has signed a contract to the end of 2024/25.
Have we missed a trick here

He worked very hard for us but without an end product. I think in the right team he could be a success and wish him well.

Kendall did work very hard whenever he was on the pitch.

That said, if he has any finishing ability he has hid it very well thus far.
