Dare to dream but they were the next big thing at Lincoln but didn't work out at Huddersfield and Pompey so they're on their way back down. Think of the terms they'd have been on at those clubs, they were stratospheres out of league for appointments. Sure they'll be taking a cut at Colchester, but maybe like Peter Taylor when they're completely washed up we'll be in with a shout

They actually did a good job at Huddersfield but then bizarrely sacked. I think they moved up a bit too quickly, should have probably stayed at Lincoln another year.
Bumped into Cowley on the way home from an away game at a services the season we signed Cheek, he still had a smaller budget in League 2 than John Still had in the NL, what a mess of a team that was early that season from Still before Hopkin run off.
