After a performance on Saturday that was condemned by both our manager and owner Peter Freund, we make the unenviable trek to Weymouth looking for an immediate reaction.

Team News: Justham; Johnson, Croll, Clark, Wright; Rance, Brundle, Ogogo; Weston, McCallum, McQueen

What a turn around! one nil down after 15mins then 26th minute Mitch rams an equaliser then 27th minute Paul Mac slots it in for a lead, keep pressing on lads!

He had covid and was out for 3 weeks just returned to training Monday.

Weymouth down to 10, can’t lose the 3 points now. Can we.

Shaun Shields is getting to much of the ball and his crossings are going to cause us problems if we don't close him down, but hey hooray we have scored more than one goal.

Much improved performance so far from the weekend.

Let’s hope we can actually maintain this kind of effort, hunger and ability to do the basics right.

Yeah we do make it hard for ourselves, 3 points need to win Saturday too, 6 points behind play offs with two games in hand on some. Small steps though.

I couldn’t tell they were down to 10 men based on performances.

It was a struggle, and we were under real pressure in the last 10 minutes.

They had ten men for just under an hour, yet we never put them fully away.

If we don't follow up with another win Saturday, then time to start looking for
a replacement.

Job done. Got the three points, albeit in a manner far less convincing than it should have been, and that's all that matters. Also the first time we've scored three on our travels since Maidstone away some 23 months ago.

Brundle seems to divide opinion amongst the fanbase but he really suits a more attacking position. He had license to go forward today and showed what he can do when afforded space in the box. His fellow midfielders Ogogo and Rance enabled him to do this with some excellent work.
