Long time no speak!!!
For those cricket fans amongst you, just a note to say our Club (Upminster CC) will once again be entertaining an Essex CCC XI in a Benefit Match at Upminster Park on SUNDAY 8th SEPTEMBER.
The main event, a T20 match with the County side, will begin at 3pm, with junior events and a ladies competition taking place beforehand. There will be a Beer Tent, Tea Tent, BBQ and Ice Cream Van available throughout the afternoon.
Entrance to the match is by programme, priced at £2.50, and available on the day or in advance from either the Club itself or three businesses in the town (Gates, Parish & Co; Batemans Newsagents; Govanis Chemists).
Always a great way to finish the cricket season, and I know in the past a fair numbers of Daggers fans have popped over for a watch and a few beers, so would be great to see people.
