Looks like Gateshead might be relegated and Aldershot might get reprieved and win the AGM cup.

Feel for the Gateshead supporters a lot

Rather than Aldershot getting a lifeline after they clearly wasn’t good enough to stay in this division, I think an extra team from the NL North should get a promotion in place of Gateshead.

Nice idea but I guess it is always easier to reprieve a relegated team, from both a legal and league standard/acceptance perspective, than it is to promote someone new. Especially as time is short too.
