The word 'cancer' may have been too strong .. but, Steve Thompson didn't think twice when he aimed that self same word towards a certain person/supporters club in a forum meeting, and refused to apologise for using it.
Again, there was no need to refuse the SC to hold the SC player of the year awards in the pitch... this was just him flexing his power

Hasn't it been well covered that Thompson comment wasn't aimed at one person but at the specific problem within the club at the time.
A comment which seems to have been generally correct given that it was later found that there was something rotten internally.

It was just that some with their own agendas decided to take it as being aimed elsewhere as it suited them.

Overall a lot of damage has been done over thanks few years by an awful lot of incredibly childish behaviour.
It's time a lot of people grew up and packed it all in.

The club has changed and to be honest the supporters club probably isn't as important as it used to be and they don't seem to like it much.

Russell and all the supporters club volunteers do a fantastic job, they were certainly worthy of a mention by ST. At least the chairman saw past that agenda in his speech on the pitch when he did thank them all. Time to move on.

Tough titty .... the supporters club is the life line to this club and no little twerp is going to ignore them without me standing up for it.... so go back into your box and zip it.

13! You literally sum up what it is like being on the coach... Thanks to Thommo we have owners, thanks to the supporters club we have 30 moaners at each away game.
