Just appeared on Billericay Town Twitter. We have a friendly against them this coming Tuesday night.

I can’t find any info via any other source.

Maybe he’ll go on the pitch at half time to announce the info that he has that will ‘end us’

Yeah, I reckon there will be 2 or 3 thousand at a Tuesday mid season friendly between Billericay and Dagenham with the Champions League on TV.

I’m sure that some of the squad need game time so this fixture will no doubt be useful, but as a point of principle I wouldn’t advocate anybody giving that egotistical twat GT any honestly hard earned cash by attending.

Being a bit of a ground hopper and not ticked that ground off this seems interesting, is the station far from the ground like its walk able? decent boozer? Cheaper rail than going Dagenham East, bit strange that maybe as its an overground route via Highbury Islington/Stratford.

It's s bit of a trot from the station. Used to be a really ramshackle place, allegedly better these days.

Easy walk from the station, approx 10 minutes. Ground looks pretty good now, apart from the 'murial' !!!

2 pubs as you walk over the railway bridge. The Railway would be my preference.

Why we playing a friendly against a team whose owner said he could put us out of business if he told the truth?

Because all that is all hot air, which is exactly what has been said many times, and the manager wants a friendly for the squad.

I’m with Digger the Dog on this. I’d rather have a friendly with Boston.
