Winner: fleetwood
Highly commended: hartlepool & plymouth

Shame our staff didnt even get a mention. Not a single game cancelled, the pitch just about held the rain against scunny and by this time of the season a few years ago the goalmouth was just dust!

I had exactly the same thought after that came out. The pitch at Victoria Road has been fabulous this season, and survived a lot of water on it on more than one occassion.

No mention for Newport County I see.

Real shame our place wasn't up there at or near the top of the pyramid, Our pitch has been excellent this season and full marks to Ian and his staff, especially with all the rain we've had in winter. Shore they must take immense pride in their work.

Awards schmoords, etc. Think there's been a few superstars of groundsmen across the country this season, what with all the poo weather n all..they'd never be able to recognise all of them.

Not having any games called off all season kind of speaks for itself..our chaps are certainly Legends in my opinion! 8-)
