Surely club is going to publish a release soon. Sure they have done earlier in previous seasons?

The club have stated any player whose contract is up will leave the club

The rest of the squad are available for transfer if deals can be agreed so they can be replaced by players on lower wages.

Cousins,Howell,Howells released. Nbonz contract terminated.

Sad to see two of my favourites of the end of the season Jake Howells and Mark Cousins going.

I know they’ll be off if we can get a fee for them, but we still have a very good group of players who have been retained. Only position where we have no natural player is left back, but when even was the last time we did!? Add a few hungry lower non league players in there and we should have enough to stay up next season, then who knows from there?

It’s that time of year when all Clubs have to submit their “Retained List” to the FA. The list outlines details of players being retained under contract for the coming season.


Charlee Adams, Andre Boucaud, Michael Cheek, Elliot Justham, Chike Kandi, Ben Nunn, Fejiri Okenabirhie, Matt Robinson, Craig Robson, Elliott Romain, and Dan Sparkes, all enter the second year of their contracts and are on the Retained List.


The club have also exercised their option to retain the services of Liam Gordon, Luke Pennell and Tyrique Hyde for a further year, and Academy Scholar, Elliot Bonds, has been offered the chance to sign a contract as a professional.


At the same time some players will be leaving the club:


Last year’s Player of the Season, Mark Cousins and long time servants Luke Howell and Jake Howells, together with Academy graduate Jordy Mongoy, all have contracts expiring at the end of June and we are not in a position to offer them new terms so they will be departing. Mason Bloomfield will be completing his move to Norwich City. Finally, Bondz N’Gala’s contract has been cancelled by mutual consent and he has left the club.
