If our season tickets were £100 for All we would need to sell 1200 to beat last season total, do it.

Club would need to advertise otherwise would end up selling the same amount of tickets for less money.

One thing to try here is to move the anti racism game to the first home game after the kids go back to school, thus getting a decent crowd in on a day when it isn't rubbish weather like they always seem to be. Then, once we have them, actually try to put on a decent game for once rather than losing in some pathetic manner, and offer some kind of reduced price season tickets for the remainder of the season.

This season this would have been the home game v Halifax on the 16th September which we won 3-1. The season ticket deal offered could take into account that we were already 5 home games down at this point, so could go for £150 for an adult or maybe even less to make it more attractive.

Somewhere (possibly Thursday) it has been said that season ticket income last season was somewhere around £120k last year priced as it was.
And your point is the club needs to attract more people what ever way they can and ticket prices is one way a lot of away supporters did not come to the ground because of our £21 entrance price that is where we lose out on.
Define "a lot of away supporters".

Ignoring concessions, reduce the headline gate price by £1 to £20 and we take in £100 less on an away following of 100 fans. This means we have to have 5 extra away fans to make the same income.

Are you saying away crouds would increase by over 5% if we reduced away prices by a quid?

Over 10% if we reduce by £2 to £19?

Over 15% if we reduce by £3 to £18?

etc, etc.

Oh and we have to reduce prices for home fans by the same amount.
They did reduce the price for the sieve from £18 to £15 gate prices but did not reduce the A13,Carling or family stands so if they can reduce prices by £3 for the sieve then they should have done the same for the stands and next season season ticket/gate prices should reflect the reduction.

And again, define what you mean by "a lot of away supporters" that don't come to us due to prices in your previous post? Unless all these reductions are going to increase crowds enough to cover the reductions, all we are doing is cutting income.

Reducing the prices for all seating just reduces our income. Prices on the day for home fans can't be less than those for away fans in comparable accomodation which is why the Carling and A13 are £21 for home and away on the day.

The way to get more in is actually to win games and play decent football, not cutting our own throats.

The reality is reducing season ticket prices is not going to make enough people purchase tickets to make much difference. 95% of the people in Dagenham won't come to watch non-league football no matter what the cost, most probably don't know the club is in trouble or care.I have heard cheapest season ticket at Spurs next year is 1800.00 but they will get crowds of 60k.Without a backer the club will have to run as non_ league/local team with crowds of a 1000, which hopefully can occasionally punch above its weight again and get into league two even if it is for a short time.COYD

To get people to Invest in a season ticket you need to follow the basics. First, stop telling the buyers " We might go bust" Get your supporters to support the club and not slag if of at the first opportunity. Supporters can help by telling everybody how good the club is,"Weare just a pub team from Essex " is a good example. If you don't want to be a Dagenham & Redbridge supporter then don't We might not be the best team in London?Essex but it OUR team.

I don't think there's a lot of point in reducing season ticket prices further. £199 is a VERY fair price for an ST at any level when you consider it's a 23-game season at home.

I - along with most others - have been critical about the way the club promotes itself. Needs to be more of an emphasis on the USP's of the club. How many professional football grounds in London have terracing any more? How many let you be that close to the players? Lower-league football is going through something of a renaissance at the moment, with Dulwich Hamlet (pre-Meadow) the prime example.

However, I'll caveat that by saying I genuinely don't think the interest is there. Whether that be as a result of local demographic, economic circumstance or people simply not wanting to watch fifth-tier football. And more than likely it's an amalgamation of all three, sadly.

Minor point but one thing that does annoy me is that when you get off Dagenham East Station they have three murals on the walls. One of them is a depiction of Barking FC. I have a lot of time for Barking and as a club lower down than us they need a great deal of exposure as well. But it does seems a bit of a piss take that at the station closest to our ground there's nothing that discernibly points out that our ground is a five minute walk away.
