Great publicity for Glyn "my name is my brand" Hopkin!

Doesn’t really help our case either when they write that he left because of fans. All very sorry reading, although good at the same time to put us in another shop window.

I know this is very clutching at straws and all that, but hasn’t anyone else wondered if some of our ex-players would be willing to make a contribution to this £250k that we supposedly need? Not the likes of Benno etc. who couldn’t afford it, but basically Ritchie and Gayle. I know they have no obligation to do so. Nor do they owe us in the sense of thinking they wouldn’t be where they are now if it wasn’t for us. But you’d like to think that if you were in their position making like £30k or whatever a month, you’d be happy to give a few grand (not the full wedge) to a club that you’d hope is close to their hearts.

Posts like these make me laugh. Any of the jobs you had are you thankful for if so why I bet you worked your nads off?

I've got where I got because of me as did Gayle and Ritchie. ****** all to do with Dagenham.

And a few explayers did want to get involved tgat got mocked before and look what mess that's left us in

See now this is a case of those times when people don’t read things. I said they don’t owe us anything and they aren’t where they are today because of us. It was just a question of if anyone thinks that they would do so if they were in that position. Is that ok to ask?

I’ll put a tick in the no box on behalf of you for that question though.

Yep I reread my post I definitely didn't say you said they owe us anything oh well maybe I should read your post again as it's all nonsense.
The only players that ever feel something is 1s that are fans. I very much doubt we have had many fans make it at a high enough level to part with there hard earned cash

So then when you wrote this you must have just thought about completely ignoring what I wrote then and decide to go on about something irrelevant to what I said?

Any excuse to have a moan I guess :ermm:

Moan?

Lol how is it irrelevant? Other than what we wasting our time talking about has nothing to do with OP.

If others had wrote what you had you would of had the usual tripe all over them.

Even suggesting ex players should put there hand in pocket is just bollocks. Clubs treat players exactly the same as players treat clubs so why should they give a crap. Move on your boring

Well this might baffle you, so hold tight for this, if someone said what I said then I probably would have replied saying that I agree. I know right? Shocker.

You’ve clearly got a poor grasp of the English language so i’ll try and clear this up for you. I didn’t say they should, I just said do people think they’d be willing, and would they help out if they were Premier League players. It’s hard for me to say they should give us money after I clearly said that they have no obligation.

As for going off topic, the article does talk about us still trying to find a way to plug this 250k hole. I’ll admit it’s a slight deviation from the OP’s intentions but it’s hardly anything criminal. You’ve probably taken it off topic more with your inability to understand my post, which has then caused me the suffering of trying to communicate with you. So thanks for that. I’m sure if the admins felt it was a severe violation of the rules then they’d move it onto another post anyway.
