Right at the end of the interview Stilly confirming that Cheek had talks with other clubs at the weekend but wants to stay a Dagger . Great news for us fans

Could also be bad news. I suppose we now need to get rid of someone else to free up the money that him leaving would have done. I fear that this might be a Fey shaped hole.

Hey Aunty Merge are you still talking to that second hand car dealer who says he won’t see us struggle?
Perhaps it’s a bit “cheeky” but won’t he pay his wages... after all he did promise he would when the season was budgeted,

Decent player but the weekend showed how we can play when we've not got the typical big man up top but a bit of pace... great if he stays but I too would worry if Fejiri now leaves

Wonder how many more we need to shift? Looking at who's left can't be that many further cuts to come?

Call me an old cynic but him staying suggests we're paying him a fair amount and couldn't get a comparative deal elsewhere.

It's brave him not going in any scenario, he might not get paid in the coming months.

Or he enjoys playing for Dagenham and that is why he wants to stay...

You're an old cynic.

To be fair to him he probably had a similar situation at Braintree.

Keep him fit, keep him happy and we have a more than half decent player on the books. Scored 20+ for a relegated side last year didn't he?!

Perhaps he's aware this about his level, it might be convenient for where he's from and there just might be the small possibility that amongst the current shit storm that we are in that the players might be wanting to stay and fight.

I personally would start with the same XI tonight even if Cheek is available.
