Do the board have the balls to change things ?

Will the board have the balls to have a clear out of coaching staff and bring in fresh blood with new ideas for the rest of the season and see if they can get the team firing again and salvage our season, even making the pay offs looks impossible at the moment.

So, we should gamble everything on getting a ticket to the play off lottery?

Agree something is wrong right now, but it could change again any moment a decent run of results gets us back in the hunt.

This isn't the time to panic, but it might be time for a change at the end of the season if things don't improve.

Disappointed big time, had to drive back 50 miles to Sussex after that abysmal performance, I know that all the players and the coaching staff must be gutted as well along with J.S. however after Junior Lewis saying they have worked more on defending during last weeks interview I was in a positive mood for a win, I only saw a worse defensive performance, I thought that Scott and Sam had showed tiredness in recent games and a few changes needed to be made but for me Ngala is not the answer he is to slow and Robson having played great in the early part of the season looks lost and slow perhaps the Captains roll is to much to soon, it seemed that the team were always second to the ball. I don't have the answers that will immediately bring about some positive results however I think John and his coaching staff need to go back and have another look at some of the earlier games of the season when we were knocking in goals for fun to try and rediscover how that was done, but after yesterdays performance, dare I say it, we should take note of how easy Sollihull made it look when on the attack, It's very strange that when ever a special occasion is on at the club ie, Daggers against racism, the festive games etc, when we attract more crowds, we never seem to win and miss the chance of getting those extra supporters back for the following games, anyway I have now vented my spleen on the matter and look forward to seeing a much better performance in 2 weeks time live on BT Sport v Aldershot I just have to make up my mind wether to drive back to Dagenham or watch it on the box.

I was at yesterday's game & was very disappointed. We don't seem to work hard enough. Whitley was taking corners & not even clearing the first man why not put someone else on corners. We needed a goal & still brings on kandi the bloke has never scored for us we should have brought cheek on first. Also robson is a good defender in midfield he's a square peg in a round hole. Put him in defense or drop the bloke. Also the constant changing of the back four isn't helping us. Howells is useless at left back the bloke can't even get a simple pass right. Why we havnt signed anyone I this window is beyond me. We need some extra bodies in

No point changing the manager now as the season is looking pretty much dead. I don't see how John is going to fix this as it seems a long way away from any kind of winning performance. We may pick up a win if we play someone as bad as Hartlepool again.

To me his tactics have been wrong for large parts of the season and he seemed happy to not have a left back in the squad. And he seems happy for us to attack in numbers but defend with less than half the team.

I know being 11 points behind the leaders is no easy feat to play catch up but were still not out of the reckoning and don't see a strong reason to hit the panic button, but my biggest disappointment is the writing was on the wall of our stagnation weeks back and can't make out why some decisions were not 'gambled' to at least try and change things and bring in a different format. What really struck me yesterday and disappointed me greatly was just before half-time especially after Fejiri's good goal which gave our team even more stronger motive, we were giving a fair bit of pressure on their goal and it was going from side to side basically full throttle, half-time came and second half we just simply looked a side deflated and no urgency to carry on, as if we just threw the game in, that was bad as it gets, why?

I'm very alarmed that we seem to be outfought by inferior teams. It happens every week at the moment. Something needs to happen to change it. I just don't know whether John can extract what is required from the current squad.

Mark we do have a left back in Pennell but he left on the bench for Howells

He won't be sacked, look how long it took for them to sack the previous plonker. Still has lost his players and the Doe rumours prove there is no way back for him now.

Pennell is a worst left back than the current options, he is a centre back by trade and given the players who are playing that position at present can't be a very good one.

We need to sign a proper left back or play a kid, is Liam Gordon a left back? Robson needs to go in at centre back and a proper defensive midfielder is also needed. Given we are almost in Feb and these problems are not sorted despite a high budget for this level it's a failure by the Manager and his staff.

All this talk is pie in the sky. Commented before as to who has the safest position at the Club The Management or Bouchard !

Will ask the question that I asked at the fag end of Wayne tenure, who is out there , because what is almost certain just like when Wayne took over the next Manager is not going to have the resources that the incumbent has been given and that will always find even the best out.

Totally agree with Digger that Luke Pennell looks a CB , my mind keeps going back to Bristol Rovers our last game in the Football League, Pennell started at Left Back looked all at sea. Second half he went in the middle looked a different player yet we have never played him there since to my recollection.

The only thing I will say about him as a left back is that until he went off at Hartlepool we had not been beaten and even at that moment did not look like we would be anytime soon. Minutes later we are a goal down and we have not looked anything like the team we were then since then consistancy wise. Howells that day was also having one of his best games since he has been here further forward.

Nothing is going to be acheived by changes now , we need to get ourselves off the floor dust ourselves down and give it everything for the remainder of this season, that includes us Supporters .

So come on Digger spill the beans something has gone wrong with Scott Doe, he was brought back because of his "knows what this Club is all about" mentality , since the last third of last season and most of this he has hardly been giving those Vibes out.

I’d worry the club haven’t a clue who to bring in when Still goes.

When he left the first time.. they looked as far as Burnett. Burnett in his half season, nearly took the team down. Yet he was rewarded with a new deal. When he was eventually sacked (far too late), the replacement was seemingly to look for Still and hope he’d come back.

Where’s the ambition to look for a new manager with new ideas and way of thinking?
