Ball boys/girls

Post by RM1Dagger » Fri Jan 26, 2018 7:13 pm

Not sure there's been any this season but tomorrow there will be (boys at least) cos my lad (ST in the A13 with me and his brother) is one tomorrow, he might get the gig permanently.. Obviously he knows to slow any retrieval of the ball right down should we be a goal up with a few minutes left!

out of interest did you go to the away game Ian ? If you did not then i can assure you that somebody is switched on at our Club.

They had none there and when the ball went out they took an age to get the ball back in play.
On the side of the ground that was empty we had our players sprinting to get it were they just ambled up. The injury time equaliser was justice.

Time wasting appears a big tactic in this League. Glad to hear we are at least doing something about it against opponents who know how to play the game.

After today's game I suggest we have ballboys outside the ground.
Manners are not a weakness.
