Don't forget now, to all be up stills arse later.
What a fine manager he is, cups always half full bollocks.
Time to go old man.

Saw that comment on Mixlr. What a shocker it was from you.

In what was very much a game of lost battles - how apt it is I felt we lacked a player suited to a battle, such as Elliott Romain.
Cheek will possibly get further criticism for not being in the game but look at the way we lineup, Ferrier is too wide and deep to be considered a partner. Why do we seem to insist on leaving one alone up top? We need a goal but we're still only resorting to straight swapping Cheek for Kandi (who I thought was poor when he came on today).

A very frustrating performance and normally one or two players can come out with some credit in defeats - not today, poor all around.

I don't wish to hear anything about why don't we play like the final 10 minutes more, when Sutton are willing to fully sit back it would be hard to achieve any different.

Yes we should have had a penalty at 2-1, but stealing an undeserved draw would probably be papering over the cracks. The players and manager got what they deserved today.

I don't know where we go from this, winning the league seems a task too far now. It's so disappointing because I think a large majority see the potential in this team but unfortunately it's not being realised.

I'm not the greatest fan of one or two of the flags, but I don't think we should try to reflect these as a reason for what's going on the pitch.

We will just carry on as we are, as Still is un-accountable. Everyone scared that a change of manager will mean a situation like we ended up in with Burnett, so nobody dare even contemplate it (and this is why he is un-accountable). Nobody remembers when we got a guy in like Garry Hill who many had not heard of at the time, and he totally changed the club in a positive way.

So now as well as predictable cup exits and inevitable Boxing Day defeats we are just to accept dross every Saturday, just because we are little old Dagenham and Still has done wonders in the past.

The club is at a real crossroads at the moment, and the fact we were played off the park by a part time team who don't even want to be at the top of the league kind of sums things up. And before the sympathisers come out with excuses about plastic pitches, they played us off the park earlier in the season as well.

Those of you drinking Bovril at away games or against Sutton and Leyton Orient - Please stop because this is proving to be unlucky

We were a disgrace today, and Still is a manager totally bereft of ideas!

The writing was on the wall in the first half with Doe's soft header which nearly cost us.....bugger me he goes and does it again in the 2nd!!!! Too old and too slow!!
It was obvious from the first 10 mins of the game that our midfield was being swamped.....but as per usual...no change! Defence didnt have a scooby how to handle the set pieces into the box......we were second best to everything today which to me shows a serious lack of fitness!! Simon Downer at 36, showed more vitality than our squad put together...

Yes, I know its going to cost us to get rid of Still, but chrissakes we need to do something drastic! Our season is on the verge of petering out!!

I think we really miss Terry Harris, he was the brains behind Still.

Merge, I believe you were at the Hartlepool game but not at the game today - maybe if you'd turned up today then we would have won....

Asked the question after Tranmere whats changed in the two seasons he has been back.

We saw today nothing!

Cant defend and devoid of any ideas at 2-0 down . Look at the body language at that stage told you everything.

At least the introduction of Luke Howell gave us a link to the then isolated front men, untill then there was nothing.

Why we persist with this inmobile Centre half and the crab that is Bouchard in midfield good alone knows cos at even 1-0 down it aint going to get you back in the game unless you are relient on your opponents to make a horlicks. They may do at 1-0 but certainly not at 2-0.

2-0 down away from home and we pull everybody back for a corner. There is then no outball and it comes straight back at us.

Dreadfull display , we are going nowhere this season.

Sussex, genuine question, would this side beat the Burnett side of say, November/December '15 (lets say the team that played at Whitehawk in the replay for instance)??

Would a half decent Cureton have spurned what they did today Mike ?

Would Cureton had missed that chance Cheek did today. Defensively they are just as bad as each other.

Dont know Mike to tell you honestly i would go for a high score draw.

So let's get rid of Still. And if things don't really get any better then what? Do we just become another club that rotates through manager after manager?

Maybe some of the problem is what our supporters expect.
Guttridge and Hawkins were frequently moaned about last season but I reckon we're missing the pair of them a hell of a lot.
It's ok though because we've got super Boucaud to hold the ball in the middle and keep doing nothing with it.

I posted somewhere a while ago about the level of experience at this level in our squad. It's actually pretty low outside of Doe, Boucaud and Howell.

What were the levels of expectation when we've promoted before. I don't remember there ever being the talk that we have in here now along the lines of "we should be beating teams like..." or we should be challenging.
