Poor game again. Two goals in four Christmas games. No goals against a poor Orient side in 360 minutes this season. Passing the ball backwards or sideways for no good reason. One of our only two attacking threats on the bench until 70 minutes. Ploughing down the left side for 30 minutes until we realise our only attacking threat in the starting line up was on the right. Not good enough.

We can write the title off now I would say, and need to put a run together to get in the top seven, let alone grab second or third (which comes with a big advantage).

Oh, and officials appalling. May not have made much difference but three minutes injury time was a disgrace with the keeper taking an age over every kick. Football once again lagging way behind, as one of the only major team sports of it's nature not to have a ball in play clock.

Don't understand moaning about Whitely coming on. Sparkes did nothing and Fejiri had a shocker.
Bloomfield wasn't holding the ball up by the time he went off.

The officials were shocking - got at least 4 decisions the wrong way round - not sure how he came to the conclusion that Bloomfield had fouled the Orient player that lunged two footed at him. Clear penalty on Whitely near the end when their player kneed him in the chest.

Absolute bollocks that we have gone 4 games without scoring against that lot. Felt like we didn’t have a striker for the entire game, Bloomfield was useless and Cheek wasn’t saying much either. What I’d give to have Hawkins back. Not sure what game Arnu was watching as Whitely was making things happen and was a massive improvement on that passenger Sparkes.
Title seems beyond us now and that’s pretty embarrassing given the signings we made this summer.

Cousins was my MOTM. Not Ling. 1st January and we’ve already seen the save of the season. Robson was also solid.

I was watching the game where we drew nil nil with 4th from bottom Orient and Whitely and cheek did sod all again.

Two great saves from Cousins, flapped at two first half corners though. Back four all did ok. Bouchard in last four games been back where he was under Burnett. Whiteley offered a bit when he came on, more than Sparkes (who I haven't seen do anything in any of his games so far). Morgan is raw but he does at least offer some energy and pace. Cheek doesn't move, Mason has first touch of a Sunday morning player.

Not much transfer talk on here, but would be surprised if other clubs were not looking at Ling. Been our best player this season by an absolute mile. Seventh place may well be a big ask if we carry on like this.

yep. howell did an amazing cross field pass, them gets subbed straight away.

I think that we need to have Romain back in the team. He's lively and shows more grit than Cheek can also play wide where we're struggling right now other than Sam ling when he gets forward. Seen enough of sparkes to know he shouldn't start as Ferrier seems to be better when he starts. Feji just can't hit the target or when he does it's straight at the keeper but hes done more the a lot of others in the last 2 matches.
Johns got a lot of head scratching to do if he is to find an 11 from them that can actually perform. I really fell for the 'when the injured players come back we can go on a good run'. It's just not happened and were lucky all those above us seem to be unable to string any wins together cos in any other season we might have been looking for a miracle but it's only a couple of wins to be in the mix again.
