Evening all.

Some of you may know that I run a website www.dagnificent.weebly.com with match reports and blog posts etc.

Tonight I wrote an article entitled 'Our Own Worst Enemy' about our recent form and whether we can win the league.

I'd appreciate if you take a look. I appreciate feedback be it good or bad, so any criticism is welcome. Thanks.

Would anyone really happily take Josh Passley back?
Right back isn't even somewhere we've got an issue.

To be honest the whole piece feels like a knee jerk reaction to a couple of losses.

Something that doesn't seem to have been gone over much is the experience of our squad:
Pennell - first real season at this level
Ferrier, Whitely, Fejiri, Ling, Robson - second seasons at this level
Lokko, Cheek and Nunn - third seasons
at this level
Plus a bunch of others that have not got much experience around the squad.

We've got a handful of experienced players in our squad.
Jake Howells has played a lot but started at 17/18, and at 26 isn't exactly old.

Passley was an awful player without enough heart to fill a thimble.

Personally always felt that Pennell was better at centre-half rather than full-back, although Stilly seems to disagree.

First of all a well written article which is a credit to young Joe.

However, I do think it's a bit of cliché when supporters say 'only we etc could do this'. Winning four on the spin and then losing the next couple I don't think is that unusual throughout the leagues..

We are fortunate no-one is running away with the league like Lincoln last season and I take Joe's point it doesn't really feel like we can grind out the wins required to make a challenge.

As for speculating on who plays and where etc I prefer to leave that to the manager who's paid to do it and sees his players everyday. We're all managers from the stands so unless a manager appears to be completely incompetent I prefer to leave it that way.
