Orient have signed him on loan. Not making our team at the moment and looking at recent subs benches it seem Still would rather put on a central midfielder to allow Robson to move back to CB then put him on the pitch so probably a good call. Keeps him match fit should we need him from January.

People on Twitter absolutely losing their minds over us loaning out a player to Orient.

Personally, don't see anything wrong with this. Orient aren't exactly challenging at the moment, and if they have a miraculous upturn in form, it's only a 1 month loan, not the whole season.

It will probably be handy to get him some game time and come back better for it, I don't think many were hugely impressed when he's played.

My only question would be whether we have enough depth at centre back to loan him out in case of injury. But I would imagine that we have the ability to recall.

Can see why we brought him in to give some strength and height to the back four... and in fairness we are still struggling years on with balls in the box or set pieces... he's obviously not a first choice however so if (presumably) Orient are picking up the majority of his wages then good move. If they were ten points clear at the top of the table i'd be concerned

I very much doubt we'll be letting him play against us on Boxing Day either given that his loan will have expired by then!!

Since our game was early KO today, once I saw the end of that, I decided since a few ex-players and one current player was involved I decided to go watch Torquay v Orient today.

What I would say is don't jump to conclusions based on the result...

I joke. Orient were absolutely woeful.

They had a goal disallowed rightly for offside and Bondz had a half chance header from a corner which he put wide. I honestly can't think of anything else which lead me to think Orient could get back into the game. The one bit of bravery their players showed was going over to applaud their clearly unhappy away following.
Red card was the easiest decision the ref will have to make all season.

I don't think Widdowson did too bad, but Bondz looked exactly like he was, thrown into a struggling team on short notice having not played much recently.

Rhys Murphy, currently at Torquay, only came on with 15 minutes to go, didn't really get much. Had one 25 yard effort which was a similar distance both high and wide.

More and more disappointed we couldn't give three FA Cup a decent crack the more league Gabe's Orient lose...they were certainly there for the taking...twice
