You can hide a lot by saying "we've sold x season tickets"

I've bought 2. But one of them was £10 for my son on the basis I might take him 2 or 3 times. Won't add much to coffers or attendances. But they've doubled the number of tickets I've bought.

Have a look at the Woking forum and see how many rarely went to how many have bought season tickets. I'm not saying this cheap season tickets will work for us but it's worth a try.

You could argue 1200 sold at an average of £80 and 600 sold at an average of £150 there is barely any difference in revenue but there is a chance of extra revenue through bars and merchandise because you sold more.

When we have the cheap matches (anti racism day), where we probably add an extra 500 on the gate, and a good opportunity to showcase the club.... The team just doesn't turn up to entertain the crowd, and normally the game is a bore, which in turn, results in a loss.
Those extra attendees just stay away the following week.

It probably doesn't help that we have those cheap days in the middle of february, which adds to the misery of the experience.
