This forum would be very boring if we all agreed wouldn't it? Ler's get back to the thread. Could not see what else the easts could do really. Let's be honest if they had matched tamplin financially they would have won against a dodgy tamplin and 4 board members who have got us into this financial mess. Sadly not to be but would like to thank the east consortium for there efforts. Without them we the members would have had no choice like in 1992. Hopefully the members will ask the right questions and get some answers. To end just like to say to the tamplin consortium ok guys and Jeanette SHOW US YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

Alan......do you know how long it will take to finalise the takeover if the members vote for tamplin? Was reading the paperwork sent out to members and read the bit where if 60 per cent of the members vote in favour of the tamplin consortium they would immediately invest 10 per cent is £122500. If tamplin is to be believed that amount would not even touch the surface of our debt!!!!!! What happens during the changeover period if it is a prolonged period? Alan no hidden agenda just wanted your views as I respect your opinion.

Mike.....thanks for the reply but I asked you two questions but you only answered one. No hidden agenda just interested that's all and I do genuinely respect you as a forum poster and a true dagger like me.

I published this on the 26th July based on the information then available: http://www.fansfocus.net/dagenhamandred ... id=8324614 and updated it twice subsequently as facts emerged (it predated Tommo's Time interview and the AGP Steel sponsorship of the Family Stand for instance).

This original article is referenced as the reason I sought out an interview with Dave Bennett as stated in the interview article as the broad gist and a lot of the wording is similar to the leaflet. You will note that it doesn't reference the overdraft claim though, although I was aware of this and I know the source.

I can dig the various drafts of the leaflet, which predate the item on DiggerDagger, out if you really want me to so we can work out who put what exact words into it, but I'm guessing that would be massively dull for everyone (including me). My major role was re-formatting it to print properly on a folded A4 page.

One question back at you. Why the Jeremy Paxman routine on this?

Yeah I know, respect blah blah. I get the feeling you are trying to trap me into something, so go ahead and get it out rather than smarming round the houses.

Mike.....for your information.parachute payment last season £235000 for one year only. with effect from this season we will receive £470000 first year and £235000 next year if we don't get promoted this season. Financial difficulties? More like financial mismanagement! Clearly living outside of our means and not be running prudently and the envy of other clubs particularly in the football league as per Thompson.

No idea. I guess getting the permission from the FA, national league etc might take weeks, ditto getting all the contracts of players, suppliers sponsors etc transferred.
