20 April 1996 (20th Anniversary)

My first game at Daggers and lost 3-2 at home to Runcorn.
Relegated to Ryman League at end of the season.
No way did I expect Daggers to spend 9 years in the Football League (including one in League 1) back then.

Mine was Hornchurch at home in 1995...Fa cup or Trophy...think we won 2 or 3 nil Sure someone will confirm!
Went with a mate who was connected to Hornchurch..... and I ended up a Daggers fan!!

Two months before that for me, Feb 1996 vs Stalybridge Celtic, won 4-1 (Stringfellow, Taylor and Derry x 2, I think).
