What would be better financially ?
Getting a draw at Everton and getting a replay or knocking them out at first attempt ?
Im thinking a replay with its financial bonus and possible TV rights would be not bad for the coffers.
Id like to see Victoria road filled to near capacity with a replay and get the chance to actually use a voucher from my ST book.
The win away at goodison would be sexy though wouldn't it .
Whats better ??

If we draw and the replay takes place on Wednesday, 20th January, I will change my birthday plans, resell the theatre tickets and look forward to a dream result - Daggers 6 Everton 0 instead.

I actually think we can beat Everton and I haven't drunk a drop.So on paper its very unlikely but just imagine....
The financial and confidence boost that would give might even get Diggerthedog and the rest of the armchair moaners brigade over there again

You never know, we can exploit the fact that they have two big semi finals coming up and so may rest players to field youth. Also, with them playing about four consecutive home games, they might just not be up for it. We might actually have a chance!

ARNU we are not armchair moaners. .. We see bad tactical choices, issues with long standing supporters, poor results, poor defending, excuses blah blah blah. ... The clown had now gone which the 'armchair moaners' have wanted. . Hopefully the club can reunite and mend bridgesARNU wrote:I actually think we can beat Everton and I haven't drunk a drop.So on paper its very unlikely but just imagine....

Gonna be weird sitting in the away end sat for me. Can't wait for the game though. Daggers best bet is if Howard is in goal. He's terrible. Petrified of a cross and he's decision making is laughable. Second leg of Semi ain't til 27th so no need for resting too many players.

Well, a few weeks ago with numpty in charge I'd have said we'd get murdered up at Goodison, anything under 4 being a result. But seeing that Everton have had a busy Christmas period, playing Spurs today, Man City on Wednesday us on Saturday and their 2nd leg semi the following Wednesday I'm not so sure. Any team with that amount of matches would struggle to put out a decent side, plenty of rain around at the moment which saps the legs no matter who you are. All that taken in to consideration, the toffees should still have enough to win the match, but I wouldn't be surprised at a draw.
