BERNARD MCNALLY has been sacked as manager of Hednesford Town, ending his second spell in charge of the Pitmen. McNally, 52, took the reins at Key Park in September after Rob Smith and Larry Chambers opted to return to AFC Telford United.

However, the former Shrewsbury and West Brom midfielder’s second spell at the club has been a tough one and the Pitmen won just three of his games in charge. Just one of those victories came in the Vanarama National League North and the club are now 18th in the league, one point above the relegation zone.
