Medy Elito has mutually agreed to cancel his contract at Dutch club VVV as his family have failed to settle in Germany, has set his sights on a return to English football.

Yeah I heard his family were in Düsseldorf which is like just round the corner from Venlo

According to Wiki it is right on the border. Must admit did make me ponder it too as to why his family was in Germany, but find on the continent cross border commuting is not as rare as you may think.
