from the last game at half time we appear to have large youth squads. As it does not appear we are going to have anybody investing money into Dagenham. Is bringing forward good quality players through the youth teams the way forwardeven if we have to sell on like Dwight Gayle?

This is the way forward for many Clubs. Dag & Red have invested in the Youth Teams, and a lot of this work was started by Wayne and Warren.

I had a conversation last week with the Chairman of Arsenal, they spend £6million a year on their academy with the plan being to bring 1 player through every 3 years, as this £18mill outlay is still cheaper than buying a player of quality in.

Our outlay is obviously nowhere near that, but Clubs like Arsenal are aware, kids are now favouring Clubs like ours as they know they will get a better chance of 1st Team football.

If Jody, Jack and Ian get moved on in the next couple of years, but we get a good deal and future sell on percentages then everybody is happy.
