I should imagine so as were out of Samuels Stand again (daggers season ticket holders) and obviously whole stand vacant to them although be a hard one to chew if it goes ahead as would they fill it? Your always get your diehards but reading up on their forum a fair few seemed to really have had enough until Martin goes. Even more so thankful to the Americans now for how we generally fair.

Online sales only surely! It would be folly to let them handle any sales as the likelihood of getting any of the money off of them would be highly unlikely

Beyond me how they're still in the division. Typical of the NL board to drag their feet tho.

They cannot be deemed capable of completing the season with all the financial issues. The ground hasn't been looked after through summer. They don't have enough players and are under embargo. They still haven't paid non playing staff. Players haven't been training together. They haven't played any friendlies.

I don't want the fans to lose their club but there has to be footballing sanction for this continued mismanagement. It is the only tool the football authorities have at their disposal to show consequences for actions.

Who is going to buy a club even for a pound that is riddled with debt and has no assets.

If the club is worth £1, why havent the fans set up their own trust to purchase and clear the debts

Not really sure what they are protesting about. Should the chairman pay all the bills out of his own pocket? The business doesn't have the money to pay.

As I understand it, Kimura are interested in buying but the terms are not agreed. I can only speculate, as nothing is public, that Kimura do not want to take on the debts as part of the deal. I can't think what else could be up for discussion. He can't sell if nobody will buy.

You''re welcome, though I admit I have not really been that involved.

Not great at all... Separate issue but a shame we haven't managed to sneak in with bids for any of their players... Just saw Chris Wreh has left for Hartlepool and Rhys Murphy went back to Yeovil and we are short up top. Callum Powell looked good against us last year and there are others we could maybe steal away.

Personally I wouldn't like to see them go under, I remember the time when we were on our arse and it wasn't pleasant. That said if they can't conduct themselves properly then maybe a drop down the pyramid and a start again structure is the order of the day. Business people come and go but it's the fans that ultimately suffer for their mismanagement.
I hope it works out for them, but like I say rules are rules and are put in place for a reason.

I’m shocked reading that to learn how the govt gave £1m in support to Bury. This shouldn’t happen anyway as it sets a precedent that opens the floodgates to all teams, but the fact they gave money to Bury and they still went to shit should mean they won’t do anything here.

If the govt really want to help then they can pull their fingers out and push through the recommended legislation coming out of The Crouch Report.

Cant field a team ?

Dont want to worry anybody but a couple of injuries and a sending off at the wrong time on the first few games and they wont be the only ones struggling to field a team.

Also one other curious thing about this whole affair , the freehold to Roots Hall which he wants 4.5 milliin for i thought had had already been sold to Sainsburys
