When I was in there, the man said we sold under 500 ST last season, but we should hit the 1000 target or be near to it this season, that's promising for sure

1000 sold would be brilliant, as much for an atmosphere point of view as for the finances... need to be trying to get back to 2000 home fans a game to get the team going. I know performances haven't been great but it was like a library at times from January onwards

Sooooo..... Has it paid off for the club? I hope so.

Would like to hear some feedback about whether they are happy or not with the Early Bird Uptake? :geek:

So we must have sold over 1000 then?

Depends what we sold last season and what 60% of that figure is I suppose.
If we sold 630 last season,a 60% increase on that is 378 so that would be 1008.

Whilst a 60% rise is very good and encouraging, remember that's still a drop in season ticket income (assuming the rise came from the 40% reduced tickets).

As long as the cash flow does not go down, all is good, and even if the overall number doesn't grow by much from previous seasons, we will all be a much happier crowd knowing we've paid only £8 a game!

Win-Win!

The way I look at it, the 3 people that signed up in addition to me would have gone to no more than about 20 games between them throughout the season. 20 x £18 = £360.00

As a result of this deal all 3 have commited a total of £537.00 and in advance. So the club is certainly 'up' on 3 supporters for starters.

The lack of needing to have the £18 on the day too should result in some extra spending for other things at the club, maybe a couple more drinks - perhaps even some bits from the shop.

Just to get some people's calculations right though. If we were UNDER 500 ST holders last year as has been quoted but had over a 60% increase in sales this year, as also quoted, then that that would still fall short of the 1000 target. Say 480 @ 65% = total sales of 792

Maybe the club will reveal the actual number soon anyway.

God, you can tell it's boring close season when I start getting all mathematical!
