real shame about lewington and femi and wish them all the best for the future.

The big question now will be who does wayne look to replace them, we may be missing these two next season if we cant bring in players that can improve the positions

Nice to see that some are already making them out to be worse than they were. I'd be surprised if either had an issue getting another club given their ages.
I'd imagine with what we pay that we'll struggle to find players in their positions that are any better.

As only 3 have been mentioned, I guess that means we're talking to all of the other out of contract players.

I must be the only one truly Sad Lewis gone. But if he thinks he can do better we'll just have to wait and see.

Femi. Well Femi was put on the transfer lise once by stilly as a boot up the backside and while most players react well to competition for spots he always seemed to take it more as an insult if someone was in the starting xi ahead of him.

Both could do a job at this level at another club so I wouldn't be surprised if Chris rolled out for Luton next year.

IMO seabrights not ready for the no.1 jersey so we need to sort that out before any strikers or anything else. But we do need another pure winger and probably another striker if Goldberg goes out on loan again..plus with D'ath going back some CM cover wouldn't go amiss with at least two of out guys being made of glass...

Saying that I'm not big on suggestions this year as I haven't really looked at other clubs releases yet.
Sorry about your damn luck!

I'm gutted he's gone, no way will we get a keeper who earns us as many points as he did.

If people think Femi can't defend I don't know what people expect from a L2 defender. He is quick and strong, wins a fair bit in the air, is very rarely beaten and doesn't let many crosses come in. He struggles with distribution but so do a lot now they're asked to pass it with nobody moving. He has the odd lapse in concentration too but largely a good defender at this level.

We have had better players play for us at this level at left back, McCrory and Griffiths were better than Femi. Think Connors in time will become just as good if not better than all three.

just hope we get a keeper in, i dont want us to go through the loan system with keepers. a good keeper could make or break our season

I'd have racon. He was half decent at charlton.

First chance I've had to comment on the 3 released. Am very sorry to see Lewy go, doubt we'll be able to attract someone as good in all honesty, Seabright is not ready from what I've seen (if he ever will be). Femi I expected, and I think it was the right decision, no point holding back an Academy prospect like Jack who to me has proved he's ready. Osborn, I've seen play once in a friendly so have no opinion.

Mccrory was never better than Femi for me and Jack at current ability is behind both albeit with time to improve. Griffiths was obviously the best but was clearly too good for us in the end.

Lots of people used to say they wanted to see McCrory get a go in midfield ahead of Femi when both were here. Could have worked out joie McC has become a more natural wide midfielder... Hindsight and all that.

Hope Demi states in the league but can see him ending up at an Aldershot or Barnet
