With the big debate about 3G pitches going on would you like us to have one installed in the near future considering this statement was put out today by Sutton United. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A ... xu8QfyLjjo

Cockney Byrites and I talked about 3G/4G pitches a little bit on our last podcast. I personally wouldn't want us to play on one but I can understand why other teams would. It brings in extra revenue as you can hire it out and the team would also be able to train on it as well. Saving money on a separate training facility.

It would be better for teams lower in the feeder leagues to have these pitches. Their games regularly get called off during the winter period which then leads to a massive backlog of games at the end of the season.

Not until they're allowed in the football league as that's where we want to be. They can be a real advantage for the team who plays on them though, both on and off the the pitch with the lower maintenance costs and being able to rent out the pitch regularly.

Listed to Talksport last year and this was spoken about with the risks of cancer.

I don't think the football league should allow it. It's a different game and not as good to watch imo.

Non league sides may need it for the revenue but football league clubs should be sustainable on the tv money and fans.

It is an unfair advantage for those who play on it too, it is very bad on joints as shown when 2 of our players couldn't play on it last season. And there are no long term conclusions yet of health risks of the plastic crumb.
