As we sit here today, I will hopefully will be in a position to give it another go next season if there is the desire for it.

I can't foresee any major changes to the format. That said, this thread has been created to post any requests or suggestions for changes to next season's League.

I will consider this some more later, but initially I am only considering two small tweaks, along the lines of:

There hasn't been anything in place to separate players who finish on the same number of points. No football league finishes with two champions and I don't believe it should be the case here. I will look at possibilities that prevent two players finishing top of the table on level points.

We've had a few players at the bottom who predicted only for a couple of rounds, I may 'hide' any players who go on long strings of consecutive non-predictions, but re-instate them with their full points tally should they join in again.

Any other suggestions, big or small can be posted on this thread and will be considered before the start of the season.

Thanks again for the participation during 2018-2019. Let's hope we can predict more wins and actually gain some points at the same time next season :thumbu:

Maybe the way to settle a potential tie break at the end of the season is by getting everybody before the first game of next season to predict our boys final league position in the national league next year... if it ends in a tie break & we can’t split the top 2 then whoever is closest with there final league prediction takes the Title?

For example if 2 people finish both on 50pts in the prediction table and person (A) predicted in August for the Daggers to finish 7th in the league and person (B) predicted the Daggers to finish 4th but we actually won the national league title then Person (B) takes the spoils with after being the closest with his/her August prediction.

Im quite happy with the current format but I think if there is a close run thing at the end of next season it can be settled in a similar way to the cup competition that Aunty Merge started earlier this season, if it looks like its going to be a close ending then perhaps for the last four games you could add guess the attendance, whoever is closest gets an extra point!

Perhaps the club will let us have a penalty shootout on the pitch at the end of the last home game of the season??? :eh:
