Re: Anyone confident??? (H) Macclesfield
They're just grinding out results. Not doing anything special. This year's Tranmere but there isn't a Lincoln in the division. But you need to score to win games.

Re: Anyone confident??? (H) Macclesfield
If we lose we're 11 points off the pace which is as good as done even at this early stage. They've won 6 on the bounce in all competitions but have limped to some of those away from home. I expect them to be irritating and disrupt us at every chance. Jalal should be out for them due to taking a blow...

Re: Wrexham & Macclesfield
Boucs had a bad first half have to agree. Actually liked Robson a lot in midfield until the red, he wins the first ball in the air more than any midfielder we have, he intercepts and he can pass well too. Shame we can't clone him really.

Re: Wrexham & Macclesfield
They didn't seem very interested in attacking against ten and thought we were the better side again. We desperately need a bit of fortune, a lucky one to go in or a bad refereeing call in our favour as we are getting absolutely nil at the moment. Cousins was excellent as were Robson and Doe. Own goa...

Re: Please Mr Still get all this slipping over sorted out.
It is pretty amateurish. Seems to happen several times per game.

Re: Woking (A)
I'd still have Andre in there but can't argue too much.
Think Sparkes will give us something different when he's fit, less inclined to dribble and looks more to get it in early like Danny Green used to

Re: Woking (A)
I couldn't get too worked up cos the lads did a good job and don't think anyone had a particularly bad game. I am confident we'll put a winning run together soon. We've played the likes of Sutton and Woking and I think we're considerably better but the results aren't reflecting it at the moment. I l...

Re: Woking (A)
Played well, finishing was poor and probably didn't have enough goes as has been mentioned. We still had a lot more on target than them though. Ref was awful but quite bored of saying it as it seems to be every week. We need to do what we can do and today we didn't take our chances. With Cheek I thi...

On a related note I'm amazed Hines can play for a team on plastic. His knee must have had a top job done on it.

If the football league say yes I'm not sure what choice we'd have. They can provide a sustainable income that we'd lack versus our competitors.
Still hate them though.

Re: FA Cup Draw Home v Leyton orient
Nobody has yet explained how this is any different in stature to a league game against the same opposition. If people think we should reduce all ticket prices in general then that is another matter. I'm happy the club are trying to get more fans involved and the fact it has some local spice should a...

Re: FA Cup Draw Home v Leyton orient
Whilst it's great for us fans to pay less, surely we'd make far more revenue at normal match day prices. It's just as high stature as a league game against a good side who will sell out their allocation regardless. I can't imagine the cheaper prices will attract more than 300 extra in the home end, ...

Re: How would you lineup against Woking?
Two options for me. Either keep the same eleven as they got a decent result. I'm happy with the more defensive approach with Robson in midfield because actually feel it will give us more chance of having good ball possession. If we want a slightly more attacking feel from Tuesday I'd put Adams in fo...

Fej must've been thinking the worst after what happened to him last season. Lucky.

Re: Aldershot..
Draws are killing us at the moment and we haven't won away since Boreham which itself was streaky. We also have a pretty bad record there. I think we'll get beat.
We need to find a way to win away but to me we are too open. I'd change the shape and look for counter attacks.
