Re: Flyde Away

The only way we are getting out of this slump is if Tav, Hill, Lawless, Mussa, Johnson all get/stay fit, and we sign at least 2 new players. Chances of that happening seem very low to me. We are in for a tough relegation battle in the new year.

Re: Elliot Justham

He'll be 34 in the summer. I know keepers can go on for a while but I can't believe anyone is going to pay a fee for him and give him a chance in the FL after 8 year absence at that age. He probably just wants to play every week. He's part of the furniture here now. Maybe he'll have some regrets whe...

Would never abuse Ben and hope none of our fans would either. He cares deeply about this club. I really want it to work out for him but it isn't happening.

Re: FA Trophy: Peterborough Sports (H) 9 December 2023

Don't really understand his interview. If people don't want to be here then drop them from the squad entirely. Difficult to tell who he's referring to cos the ones he puts his faith in can barely muster a run half the time either. Some of our better players this season have been the ones he didn't s...

Re: FA Trophy: Peterborough Sports (H) 9 December 2023

It'll be the same old story even if we do remove Strevs. We've been useless for years and years. It doesn't seem to matter who is manager or who we sign, we are rubbish. There's never any identity or togetherness. We lurch from overpaid marquee players to cheaper options that nobody wants, but still...

Re: NL: Rochdale (H) 25 November 2023

We're rubbish. The goal is a great strike but Johnson never got near him and none of the midfield 3 got into a position to cover the space the guy was driving into. It's a lack of concentration and a lack of desire. 2nd goal is a horror from Eastman. One of our best players recently and if even he's...

Re: NL: Kidderminster (A) 18 November 2023

At least it's a handy excuse for him not being named in the squad this week. Cos obviously we have failed to ask the manager in interviews why he hasn't been involved for the last 2.

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023

How about Hill as the most attacking of the midfield 3? Not sure if it would work but he's got the work rate for it and would mean he's involved in the game more.

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023

Indeed. I think you have to back Effiong and then build round him. So far Sears and Kendall aren't the answer, they don't link up, they don't really have the raw pace to compliment him. Main problem is the midfield 3 is totally sterile. DLK played well but he's defensive, Hess is pretty defensive, R...

Re: NL: Dorking (A) 4 November 2023

Very welcome three points. On paper won 3 of the last 4 but we all know 2 of the last 5 included an embarrassment at Bracknell and a pathetic showing against Boreham. I hope we aren't going to become too unpredictable, that trait became incredibly wearing under Daryl. I think probably we are better ...

Re: NL: Woking (H) 21 September 2023

Thought Ben got a big slice of luck today tbh. The selection was wrong, we barely had a shot again, and we didn't improve when they went down to ten. Inih was poor but he's a goalscorer and you can never write him off. I'd also go back to Kendall with him purely for effort. Vincent is on borrowed ti...

Disgraceful lack of professionalism. You can't be losing to them.
