Maidenhead United (A)
So, back in action today as we travel to a Maidenhead side that consistently defy the odds under manager Alan Devonshire. This season has proved no different so far, with the predicted strugglers sitting pretty in fourth place following 5 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. However, both of their losses ha...

Re: Match Preview: Bromley
Match Report: Daggers 1 Bromley 1 Thirty seconds after Dagenham had the ball in the corner, seemingly on the precipice of another home victory alongside an eagerly-awaited first clean sheet of the season, they were struck by a devastating blow that sent bodies all around the ground slumping to the ...

Re: Match Preview: Bromley
Yeah maybe a bit harsh, maybe the disappointment of the last-second goal is clouding things somewhat. We did play well and gave as good as we got throughout, however Bromley were a tidy outfit and always seemed to have a threat going forwards. I'm not saying that they were camped in our box for 80 m...

Re: Match Preview: Bromley
To be honest, I think it would've been even harsher on Bromley if they hadn't got anything. The last-second equaliser hurts, but it was coming for about 80 minutes. Other than our goal and Luque's big chance, I can't think of much that we offered, whereas Bromley had five or six really strong opport...

Re: Chesterfield (A)
For the second Saturday in a row, I am utterly perplexed that we've somehow ended a game with our goal under siege, when by half time we looked so comfortable and seemingly heading for a convincing victory. As has been a recurring problem this season, we failed to kill it off and capitalise at the p...

Chesterfield (A)
7 points from our last 9 marks our joint-best form of 2019, which we'll be looking to continue as we head to struggling Chesterfield this weekend. Them and Chorley are the only sides yet to taste victory this season so on paper it's a good time to play them, however there's the feeling that it's onl...

Re: Bury
It almost seemed fitting, Bolton and Bury were due to play eachother live on Sky Sports on the 8th September. It's no Premier League's responsibility to bail any team out, once again it's the supporters that suffer. Steve Dale, a self-proclaimed non-football fan who said he could 'very easily' walk ...

Re: Rhys Murphy
After the way the first-half unfolded I wouldn't have expected many more shots let alone three goals! Luque and Dobson made all the difference but a huge well done to Quigley yesterday. Although both goals were straightforward chances he did well to finish with composure in pressure situations. We w...

Re: Eastleigh away
Weird one yesterday. First half display was the most comfortable we've been all season, albeit there was little resistance from a poor Eastleigh outfit. Then, second half we looked possibly the poorest we have so far with not much intent, grit or hunger. In the end not going into half time two or th...
