Re: Clear out
If I were Doidge and Raymond I'd tell this lot to go **** themselves. Doidge gives his all every game with very little supply up to him and yet gets dropped for no apparent reason time and time again. And Frankie Raymond (the one bloke who could supply Doidge and co.) can't or couldn't get a run in ...

Going backwards.
In truth Barnet could have had at least 5 today, but at their place it could have easily been double figures. We are simply awful and deserve to go down, some of these players are happy to pick up a wage and nothing more. There is no improvement in our play and save for the two wins when players wer...

Agreed.ARNU wrote:I certainly agree with all of that.Grimsweeper wrote:I think Jodi would improve for a spell out on loan.
We all want him to take games by the scruff of the neck and dominate the opposition but he just isnt ready.
we cannot afford the luxury of letting him find his feet in our remaining league games.

Prediction v Barnet
Despite a somewhat spirited performance against Wycombe, we still came away empty handed. You just knew when Doidgey hit the post, it wasn't going to be our night. So we move on and the visit Barnet this Saturday. Anyone who attended the away game last year will know that terrible doesn't even come ...

Re: Cousins or O'Brien?
I think Cousins should definitely be our first-team keeper but also wouldn't mind seeing O'Brien get a spell of games as he's made huge improvements from last season. Personally I feel O'Brien would've saved Wycombe's second goal which was the looping header. I don't think he would have misjudged t...

Cousins or O'Brien?
Talking to a mate before the Wycombe match the other evening and the subject came up of who should be our first choice keeper. While both have their plus and minus points, I think personally Cousins is making too many errors of late and maybe it's time to let O'Brien take over. What do you think?

Re: 17 games to go...
Not much mention of 6 foot 7 (ish) hawkins, thought He was quite impressive.. Start next game please!!!!! As mentioned it wont be pretty but He could keep us up...He had the whole wycombe defence panicking like hell.. He needs to stop throwing himself on the deck and giving it the outstretched arms...

Don't forget 5 of those matches are all away to sides at the top, Northampton being the exception. Just thought I'd cheer us all up a bit!

Re: Awaiting the inevitable interview...
I must admit that I find it baffling how Frankie Raymond can't get a start. Hemmings has been shite for at least 3 months and as for Jones he's no better than a Sunday pub team player. We showed a bit of fight tonight and at times it was hard to see they had the extra man, that said the result is wh...

1-1 Wycombe to score in the 101st minute after a goalmouth scramble involving all 22 players. The ball canoning in off Aaron piere's left arse cheek.

Re: Recruitment
So in short, you don't understand. Glad that's cleared up.[/quote]
I understand perfectly that his leadership qualities were found wanting severely on Saturday. His comments were a poor attempt at deflecting his own mistakes, of which there were many. But you obviously didn't see that either. Bravo.

Re: Recruitment
Everything about the previous manager was a shambles, that's not to exempt those that gave him a two year contract, as they are equally at fault. But after Saturday's comments by JS on what many saw as utter garbage, is he any better. The answer for me is no. We may be a tighter knit unit, but we s...
