Re: The petrol light was flashing; now we’ve broken down...

I haven't streamed all the games but I haven't seen any truly convincing performances and frankly have seen a lot of dross. If the lad wants to watch tomorrow I I'll buy a stream but won't if he doesn't.

Re: Notts County Match

Those wins against Kings Lynn, Dover and Weymouth have kept us out of the drop zone - at least we've managed to do that so far. I wonder if our position in the league will colour our vote on null and void?

Re: New Manager

If the league goes null and void or there is no relegation to league south I'd do nothing immediately and look for a new enthusiastic young manager in the summer. If the league carries on and there is a threat of relegation I'd get Still in to keep us up and then appoint a permanent manager in the ...

Re: Notts County Match

I never thought I'd say it but get him out now and if it's not null and void get Still in for the rest of the season.

Re: National league likely to vote to end season

If the league was suspended I assume it would be to re-start with crowds, maybe socially distanced at first. I can't work out when that would be. I suppose it depends on the success of the vaccination programme and its impact on infection levels?

Re: National league likely to vote to end season

This might not be a very popular view, but on Saturday the club announced a new signing at 2pm and at 10pm started pushing for grants of taxpayers' money. That was a bit rich when you think about it. Taking on new staff is hardly the action of a business going under. I read that Chesterfield have pu...

Re: Chesterfield (H)

We played 10 men for 84 minutes and shipped two goals. Ok some times it's hard to break down 10 men as we proved they other week but to concede two is an embarrassment. Another 2 points dropped in the circumstances and it is was only the ability of one player to give it a go , who did not even star...

Re: King's Lynn (H)

We've been good at beating the teams around us, which should keep us out of trouble so I tend to agree that this manager won't get us out of this league.

I imagine we could be on the cusp of the season being suspended if not scrapped

Re: Dover

Traffic looks grim in the town. I guess it may boil down to whether ferries run on Friday. No word from the club so I guess it's on.

Dover

There couldn't be a worse place to be playing that fixture at present! I wonder if it will get postponed if a deal can't be done on cross border transport?

Take care yourself Sussex. Just been talking to a colleague in Leicester who works in the NHS. He told me the local hospitals had 200 CV19 patients last Friday evening. By Sunday evening it was 280.

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

I watched the stream. Pretty uninspiring stuff. A draw wouldn't have been an unfair result but we didn' t really test their keeper. My wife's cousin went, enjoyed having a chat with his pals and was totally underwhelmed by the performance and won't be hurrying back. I guess the potential move of the...

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

People entering stadia are legally required under the regulations to give contact details. That duty can be discharged by use of the QR code, which must be displayed by law. I guess the club know who they sell a ticket to but not who uses it?
