Re: NL: Dorking (A) 4 November 2023
Very welcome three points. On paper won 3 of the last 4 but we all know 2 of the last 5 included an embarrassment at Bracknell and a pathetic showing against Boreham. I hope we aren't going to become too unpredictable, that trait became incredibly wearing under Daryl. I think probably we are better ...

Re: NL: Woking (H) 21 September 2023
Thought Ben got a big slice of luck today tbh. The selection was wrong, we barely had a shot again, and we didn't improve when they went down to ten. Inih was poor but he's a goalscorer and you can never write him off. I'd also go back to Kendall with him purely for effort. Vincent is on borrowed ti...

Disgraceful lack of professionalism. You can't be losing to them.

Re: Is this the worst Dagenham and Redbridge team ever?
Don't think it's fair to question their attitude today aside. I was sick of Daryl's Jekyll and Hyde side, had no connection to the fans, just mercenaries. Taylor's teams were largely awful, firstly because of budget and secondly because he made a hash of an improved budget. I suppose I want to see e...

Re: The Cost of Relegation
Relegation would cost us a fortune but so did throwing big money at players who largely underperformed. I don't think we'll go down and I actually prefer this season so far to recent ones - they are a team in the Daggers mould, they turn up every week rather than when they fancy it, just missing a s...

Re: FA Cup: Bracknell Town (A) 14 October 2023
There is an absolute chasm between that level and ours. If we are professional then it can only go one way. But there's always a chance in the cup.

Re: NL: York City (H) 3 October 2023
Difficult to know what to make of it. At one stage I thought it was our best performance of the season. Some of the football we played to carve out chances was excellent. York barely got out of their half until the last ten minutes. A few things tho. Once again our crossing other than Page is shocki...

Re: Southend United
Pleased for the fans that they still have a club. Still think it's a farce they have been allowed to play this season and continually fail to pay the bills. Does anyone here understand the ins and outs of why they all hate Ron Martin so much? It seems to me that they have expenses way beyond their i...

Re: NL: Aldershot Town (A) 30 September 2023
Trinity are still subsidising the club this season. Maybe to a lesser extent, but they are still putting their own money into our team. I don't think we have any right to demand more from them. I know football is insane these days and almost every club seems to depend on millionaires but to say trin...

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023
Needed to switch play earlier, too many times we used 5 passes to go across the pitch when one or two may have created an overload. I'm not sure about putting someone alongside Kendall. I don't think we'd get far playing 442, a 4312 would mean we have no width and I really don't like us in a 352. I ...

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023
Where we once relied heavily on Westy, now it is Hill. Vincent may very well be out of position on the right but he didn't do much earlier in the season in the middle either. He never looked like beating his man or delivering any quality into the box. He keeps losing the ball in good areas. So our o...

Re: NL: Chesterfield (A) 9 September 2023
The GK sets up the wall and he set it up wrong. Maybe it is harsh but these are the fine margins that games hinge on.

Re: NL: AFC Flyde (H) 2 September
Hill, Tavares both excellent. Hessenthaler and Rees best games for us to date, the former played well and the latter still not brilliant but a definite improvement. Kendall worked so hard but not sure he's ever going to score any goals. Mussa did well and a lovely goal. Thought the ref was 5/10 at b...

Re: Barnet
It was a good save. But in that particular incident if he'd gone towards the ball earlier he could have just picked it up I thought. I was calling for him to go and get it what felt like at least a second before he started to move.
