Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans
Sussex, has your club managed to stay open with substantial Scotch Eggs or Spring Rolls? My two CIU Working Mens Clubs in Tier 2 have stayed closed. One used to serve light basic meals for which there was never a great demand except for “Pie Friday” but was very busy with drinkers. The other club w...

Re: Fingers Crossed
Any guesses on what Tier Dagenham will be placed in? Tier 2 or 3 I presume. Thurrock where I live was Tier 1, general opinion is that we will go up to Tier 2. Cold, wet winter creeping up when attendances in normal times drop off a bit. Would the club be better off in Tier 3 having No Fans but presu...

Re: Fingers Crossed
So the way I read the new rules that apply to us is 50% of capacity or 2000 whichever is the lower. Season Ticket holders first I would imagine in our case. Travel in general will still be subject to local restrictions-not sure how that will work, maybe Home fans only in many cases. Also subject to ...

Re: New look
Sorry but I don't like it. I used to be able to see what day and time someone had added a new post to an existing thread.

Re: Is this the most turgid football ever at Dagenham?
I hope our manager, coaching staff and especially the players watched Hartlepool v Torquay yesterday. Torquay gave a display full of energy and skill and thumped 5 past Hartlepool. A mixture of youth and experience were at the monkey hangers from the first whistle. Tactically brilliant, so fit it le...

Re: Maidenhead (A)
I’m not confident about our defence dealing with Rhead and Whitley at the Wood on Saturday. I left my Season Ticket money with the club for Home streaming. Away streams, my tenner is staying in my pocket. Luckily decided against paying Maidenhead as well.

Re: Yeovil Town (H)
I’m hopeful Matt will be involved this Saturday. I think many games he has made the team tick. I can’t fault his work rate and he has a good knack of breaking up attacks and spraying a good few passes about. I’d like to see a few goals from him though. Although goals from anyone will do at the moment.

Re: Yeovil Town (H)
Well the injuries and Robinson seemingly falling out of favour isn’t helping us to rest legs. But I didn’t say it’s acceptable that we seem to be struggling for fitness, I just said the break for the FA Cup should give us some rest that we really need right now. Only my opinion but Matt has been ca...

Re: Game one
If that’s what passes for a valid argument as to why we lost, it’s going to be a long season. I was merely pointing out that ALL the teams I mentioned were fancied to do well and ALL LOST. They all also ALL had long journeys. I wasn’t referring to just the Daggers. I used the discussion forum to ma...

Re: Game one
Did the team travel by rail yesterday? Do you have to wear face masks on private hire coaches? I am pretty certain it was mentioned during the week in an interview that they were going by train. I have seen private hire coaches leaving bus lay-bys near where I live carrying mask wearing passengers....

Re: Game one
Just a theory of mine when I used to bet on football regarding away travel. The teams tipped to do well in this league Notts C, Stockport, Boreham Wood, Solihull Moors and Daggers ALL lost yesterday. The common factor is that they all had AWAY games with quite considerable travel distances. It can’t...

Re: Streaming
From the club website: “This may sound complicated, but for example: An Adult Terrace Season Ticket Holder, who paid £250 for their season ticket. If fans are allowed back from the 22nd March there would still be 7 home games left, having played 16. Pro rata the 7 games, which equates to £76.08 + 16...
