Re: Dreadfull.

Completely dreadful. How much we were supposedly up for the game and what we produced in it simply did not align. Outclassed from the very first whistle without getting near them. We were passed to death like we had fewer men. Figuratively, we did. Rees and Kendall were completely anonymous. Others ...

Re: NL: Altrincham (A) 5 Aug 2023

What a moment that was. You could just see Phipps' header was angling beyond the fingertips of the keeper as soon as it graced his head. Think that will be looked back on as a very good point.

Re: 📝 Lewis Page

An obvious injury risk having barely kicked a ball in two years, but if that wasn't the case he wouldn't be near near this level anyway. Was clear during the friendlies that he's a cut above in movement, technicality and reading of the game. Keep him fit and we've got a League One calibre player. H...

Re: Friendly: Leyton Orient (H)

A decent performance with many positives against what was essentially League One Orient's strongest side; the quality of players like Darren Pratley and George Moncur would have posed a great challenge for us. With that in mind, the performance of trialist Conor Lawless was particularly impressive ...

Re: Friendly: West Ham (H)

Agree, I thought it was an excellent performance and that Effiong held the ball up brilliantly and scored a great goal. When Sid came on thought he looked very lively and despatched his penalty with confidence. Not sure of the exact line-up and would appreciate if perhaps Joel could supply that if ...

Re: Friendly: West Ham (H)

Really encouraging signs, even with the obvious pinch of salt around friendlies. More than held our own against a side full of internationals, and had strong spells in control. Very impressed by Jake Hessenthaler on his first showing, was composed in everything he did and distributed the ball effici...

Manny Gone

To Hartlepool. Best resolution for both parties as he looked a pale imitation of the version we saw first time around; all over the place, error-prone and visibly shot of confidence. The best chance at regaining that was always going to be at pastures new and hopefully there wasn't too much of a com...
