Re: Golden Kit on sale

Arnu standing under a bridge? eating a hat of course too There has been no actual hat eating as far as I can tell, just noise about it. Maybe a sponsored hat eating would raise some much needed funds? Not likely. Arnu was due to eat a hat about six years ago over something to do with Kevin Maher bu...

Raised just over £1000 at the quiz last night. Good turnout and top hosts.

Re: Applications invited for 1st team manager

What self respecting, professional club advertises for the position of 1st team manager over social media? Who exactly are they expecting to see it and write in? Ernie the part time Brick Layer from Elm Park? And I thought the way we were being run by the Dildo Brothers was bad enough... :confuse: ...

Re: Getting More Local Daggers Through The Turnstyles

Well done to the club for listening RE Junior Supporters' pricing. Looking around the forum on Thursday - and this is not meant to cause offence to anyone - but our supporter base isn't getting any younger. While the short-term survival of the club is important, it's equally important we plant the s...

Re: Matchday Prograaaaaaaaaaaaaaaames

I edited the programme during the 15-16 and 16-17 seasons and we brought back Travellers' Tales for one of those. Problem is, with a feature like that, if you keep it going for too long and you keep visiting the same grounds, it gets very repetitive. I'm in two minds over whether they should be crap...

Re: Maidenhead

Big fan of the number of vintage shirts on display around the ground. Should make that a yearly thing last home game of the season.

Re: The Silence

I’m not that hopeful. If the worst happens, how on earth are we all going to pull together and find a Phoenix club? I would imagine - and primarily hope - that if the worst did happen, then some investors who had previously shown interest but not committed anything, would return and help out with c...

Re: The Silence

Just shows you other clubs are doing something to raise funds,it a sad state of affairs when our club can`t be bothered. It’s clearly not a case of the club ‘not being bothered’. Don’t make such spurious and stupid statements because people believe you and that’s how factions develop. Who`s making ...

Re: The Silence

I, clearly like many others, are becoming distressed and disturbed by the lack of any known developments. Dagger4eva's message highlights this. Are we waiting for the (rich) cavalry to come over the hill? Have we got a Plan B..any Plan? I sense that whatever is going to become public knowledge soon...

Re: Woking Draw

I thought we looked absolutely spent after 70 minutes to be quite honest. Fejiri was running on fumes after 70 minutes but we didn't have any options off the bench so he had to plod along which affected his play. Probably should have won the game in all honesty but fair play to the lads for giving i...

Re: The Silence

As we walked across pond field park to the game yesterday a bloke and a small boy were having a kick about. The ball came to me and I passed it back to the kid and said" you'd probably get a game in there today" and pointed to the ground. The boys father said " what's that ground the...

Re: The Silence

3 Points I agree with, we have no assets and the council would love to build house or flats on our ground, it is prime building land near the station. There is no consortiums or anyone in the pipeline to invest, why would they want to? Fan base low, no ground, and never ending paying out. Lets drop...

Re: 18/19 Season ticket prices

I don't think there's a lot of point in reducing season ticket prices further. £199 is a VERY fair price for an ST at any level when you consider it's a 23-game season at home. I - along with most others - have been critical about the way the club promotes itself. Needs to be more of an emphasis on ...

Re: Ideas for Save the Daggers

Let West ham season ticket holders in for a tenner. Did we do anything last night to encourage them to come back? There was a 20% discount yesterday for anyone who bought a ticket on Wednesday night. But the fact that hardly anyone knew about it probably means it wasn't marketed correctly. I only k...

Re: Fylde

Couldn't really fault the boys at all this afternoon. Kept a side who've stuck five past Tranmere and seven past Aldershot pretty quiet all game. Chuffed for Kandi as well. Has the ability to become an important player for us. As for the attendance, 1100 was hugely disappointing. Part of me wishes w...
