Re: Players to have a look at?

If anyone sees a decent player, e-mail Wayne or Darren at the Club. You won't be surprised the Club doesn't have the money to run scouts all over the country.

Don't just say he's a good player, give as much detail as you can.

Re: New manager

If the Club was to sack the Manager, and I doubt they will as it will cost between £100k-150k to pay off WB, DC and WH, we have to be realistic as to who you would get. Stevenage thought it was Xmas when Teddy signed, think they might have Westley back tomorrow. With a limited wage budget, smallish ...

Re: Southern Scotland Saturday

Which was my point earlier. Our travel budget has to be reduced this year. No overnights at Tranmere, Cheltenham, Shrewsbury, Bury & Burton. New overnights at Bristol Rovers, Yeovil. Exec Coach 2 days app £2000. 13 Double rooms approx £150 each inc meals £1950. Total £3950 25 train tickets at £1...

Re: Southern Scotland Saturday

Thought we had given up with this travelling on the day for long trips. Having to get up early, sitting on a train for long periods, not good preparation in my opinion.

Let's hope I'm badly wrong and we're not 2-0 down after 10 mins.

Re: Well done.

Great result. At times we might lack a bit of quality, composure but can't fault the desire and effort.

A 2-1 win, but look at our bench today.

Cousins, Cureton, Hines, Jones, Raymond, Dikamona.

Most of us would have at least 4 in our starting

Re: TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY FOR THE DAGGERS

50/50 on if Jones stays, we hold the upper hand.

We have the Partridge wages now available, but we also have to decide what to do with Ferdinand as his month is up next week.

Think we might bring one or two in before the loan window closes, but not expecting anything today

Let's see

Re: Ninety fifth minute!!!

Wayne has been adamant we will be alright. I had a moments doubt after Tuesday, but thought the team put up a great show today. Liam done well, Ayo was immense, Christian had his best game in my opinion, worked his butt off. But everyone contributed. The ref or more the ass ref killed us again. I'm ...

Re: Controversial but......

Last night was disappointing but not hitting the panic button yet. Orient and Portsmouth sitting 1st and 5th so have done okay in their two other games as well as beating us. Last night I didn't see a lot wrong with our disallowed goal, and how many times do you get to see a corner retaken for ball ...

Re: Prediction v Exeter

This is the first game of the season I would be very disappointed if we get no points from.

I would be happy to give Clever Dick another game, but feel we could do with Frankie Raymond in midfield to create something for us. Not sure how his injury is coming along.

Re: Abu Obileye

Ian and Adi were only two players with no squad number and names on shirts at open day two weeks ago so we're always going on loan. Once Adi is fit he will go as well

Re: Abu Obileye

The three pre-season games I sat on the carling between dugouts and TBS. It was like a scouts convention. So many ex players who I recognised but couldn't remember names it was unreal. Peter Brabrook (West Ham), Mick Harford ( Millwall), Pat Holland (Spurs) and Ray Clemence were just some I did reco...

Re: Abu Obileye

WB has just said he has been offered to us as part of a deal for Jody. No idea what the club want but £500k, Ayo and 10% of any future deal would be about right .

Re: Charlton

Despite our small squad, picking a team is quite tricky. I'll go with Lee's team but would start without Jones, and have Doidge up top with JC. The Orient Manager was at 2 of our pre-season games and will be expecting Jody to play. I would look to bring Jody on after 70 mins and turn the screw. Not ...

Hi Joel, can't see Cureton being involved with Orient Saturday and Exeter Tuesday.
