Re: Best/Worst Managers in D&Rs history....

It’s not just about stats, it’s also about the circumstances and other stuff that went on. For me: 1st - John Still: had to rebuild a lot on arriving for his second spell, found a lot of players from lower leagues that ended up bringing more money into the club. Two promotions that weren’t expected....

Re: Taylor Gone

Maybe the knowledge of how to make money by acting a tenant on valuable land is why the owners had the money to buy us in the first place. Maybe it's been done previously who knows and I for one wouldn't like to comment. £288,000 average price of a house in Dagenham. For someone that wouldn’t like ...

Re: Taylor Gone

I ran B + D council planning department for over 13 years. I know how these things work. Yes the Council own the land and I'm sure that when offered a huge amount of money by parliament to build homes they will come to the conclusion - We can't build there because of the 1000 or fewer D+R fans. Bot...

Re: GARRY HILL

23 Players in a League that has any number of Pub teams, make no mistake that was what Chorley are, was never going to be enough Even a poor season would be at least 50 games long. As somebody commented yesterday if Mr Taylor had been a success as England Manager he would have taken 22 to 7 game co...

Re: Looks Like We Can't Fill The Bench

But Sussex, one area in which there is cover is left back - Wood is on the bench. The squad is poor. There’s a host of injuries (Balanta, Deering, House, Manny, Croll, Odametey, Phipps and Graham - have I missed any?). So you can understand, if not agree with, the owners’ position. They will say we...

Re: Taylor out !!

Brundle didn’t score that many for Dover.
He got 8 last year and had 4 at this time last season against the 3 he has for us.
He’s just one of the many distinctly average players we have.

Re: Attendance

You stand more chance of getting the truth from a Party political broadcast then you do at those love ins. 23 players for at least 49 games was never going to be enough. Surprised how many of you get taken in by all the bullshit. 23 players for a season should be more than enough if you have the ri...

Re: Peter must go!

It’s the beginning of November we’re four points off the play offs. Newsflash: it’s a tough division, anyone can beat anyone and they do! Yep PT can be questioned and criticised but the vitriolic posts on here are nothing short of hysterical. And there’s nothing wrong with where the scoreboard is b...

Re: New Signing, Left Back!

Nope, don't get it at all.
We've had 4 different players play at left back already this season haven't we?

The squad isn't crying out for a 19 year old left back with very little proper game time.

Fantastic - which group is he with?
He's with the Sixth mate... Other half's daughter (I believe) is with the 16th... also Beavers
I’m with the 16th so she probably knows me.

Walk #ForJodie

Back in June this year, I had the privilege of taking on the role of District Commissioner for Barking & Dagenham District Scouts. Scouting has been part of my life since I was 7 years old and has never stopped. 3 months before I took on that role, our District suffered something a terrible trag...
