Re: Danny Green
Feels a little sad that he has been told we aren't interested in him. Would have loved to have seen him back but we have already made a lot of attacking signings so probably the right move to not go for him.

Re: Your prediction for our 1st league game 17/18 season
Start at home. Barrow is the only long distance trip we have throughout December and January (FA Cup depending). Looking at the last 10 games you would say that only Tranmere and Gateshead are matches to be concerned about. I would say its a pretty good fixture list for us.

They like local games for the boxing and new years day fixture so I get the feeling that will be the Orient game.
I'm guessing Ebbsfleet away.

Re: New Signing
on another note hawkins been linked to pompey. With us having an attack of Hawkins, Whitely, Fejiri, Sparkes, Howells, Ferrier, Cheek and Romain. It wouldnt surprise me if Still isn't preparing himself to lose one of Hawkins or Whitely. Probably would be the best transfer for him, going up some lea...

New Signing
Charlee Adams has joined, last played for Birmingham. He was playing top flight Scottish footie last year (although Jake Mulraney is now a first team regular for Caledonian Thistle so that doesnt always mean much) and was picked a few times while at Birmingham. On paper it sounds like a really good ...

Re: And another one...
Seems like an experienced player, was suppose to sign for Gillingham last year so he has the ability to play at a higher level. I'm a bit worried where Doe and Robson fit into this (might well be the end of Staunton unless he improves at right back), I would picture Bondz as being in the starting 11...

Meant more as a joke than something to be taken seriously before the thread gets out of hand.len wrote:Give the guy a chance he was 17 years old when he played for them, we can make a controversy out of anything if we try.

New Signing
Daggers sign right back Ben Nunn from Boreham Wood. Positive move I think, Boreham's defence was probably one of the hardest we faced last year. Controversial signing as his career started at Boston when they were league 2... It should have been us. http://www.daggers.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/sign...

Re: England C
Played the full 90 against Panjab too. The same paper mentions his name once or twice so it sounds like he didn't do badly there either. I thought Fejiri should have been called up for England C along with Hawkins and Robinson so its great to see him finally get his chance. As you say hopefully he i...

Re: New signings? Renewed contracts? Released list?
Well we signed Brian Saah because he was half decent for Torquay and was bored of living over there so we have form for this kind of thing. Sounds like just what we need, someone who can feed the hawk next season.

Re: The list.
I like the versatility of having Whitely in the hole. Then he can support either wing as well as getting into some good attacking positions. With a new right winger (Green or otherwise) and Fejiri to feed him balls, he will be an unstoppable machine again. I get the feeling that is a bit of a dream,...

Re: The list.
Seems Still was concerned about his injuries. On WIlliam's twitter he has released a statement saying he was offered a short deal but wanted a longer because of his family, then when he reconsidered Still had withdrawn the offer. If I remember rightly didn't someone like Gavin Hoyte go for pretty si...

Re: Should we be going for former daggers?
Zavon Hines can be added to the list, released by Southend. Probably the first of our old players I might immediately say no to, he is made of too fragile a glass for the conference.

Re: Should we be going for former daggers?
Sign all of them no. Invite them all for trials and take it from there, yea. That is a good mix of left backs, left and right wingers, centre back and a striker. Still has form for signing ex players too, all the Daggers he took to Luton and now all the Luton players who are with us. It wouldn't sur...

Re: Bingham
Obileye transfer listed by Eastleigh. He was an odd one, had an amazing first loan spell, an alright but not as great second and wasnt that great against us. Seems to be on the decline.
