Re: Daggers v Concord Rangers 22nd September 2020
If tonight does happen the club put on Twitter a couple of hours ago that all tickets have to be purchased in advance, online and before 5pm.

Re: O/T Macclesfield Town
This biggest problem for Daggers and I imagine a lot of clubs in our league is the lack of parties. The function rooms were booked every weekend. I often run into the sponsors area after the game and the players are often still finishing their pasta when everyone is thrown out to prepare for the eve...

Re: Matty Cash
Pretty hard to really point anyone out as doing well from season Cash and Worral were with us, they were good and we would have been down a lot sooner without them but definitely wouldn't have said one would be worth £16 million and in the English premiership with the other having played European fo...

Re: Fans Returning to Victoria Road
1000 people to start off with is quite promising to see. You’d imagine that figure is seen as a safe one below what would actually be our capacity during COVID if this is successful. If we can get a capacity of 1500+ I really do hope that it could see our attendances increase whilst the big London ...

Fans Returning to Victoria Road
Ok for West Ham Women V Arsenal but its a league game and we wouldn't have been selected for this if the ground didn't pass heavy scrutiny, especially as I believe its the first competitive game in the country to allow fans to attend. A step in the right direction. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Re: Predictions for the season ahead...
Last season we had one of the best defences in the league conceding fewer goals than some of the play off teams. It was purely our goalscoring that let us down. We have lost 2 of our best defenders but we had that all be it dull but unbeaten spell when Gordon was unfavoured or at Dartford so as much...

Re: Refund?
I’m pretty sure I heard at the forum the shop might not even be open. They certainly said any ticket sales or collections at the shop on match day would be unworkable because of trying to distance in the shop but possibly an arrangement could be made by calling the club during the week. They will pr...

Re: Hang on... two potentially decent strikers??
I don't want to get over excited about this squad but finding it very hard. Probably one of the strongest squads we have had since the season Ferrier signed for the club (try to remember the start more than the finish of that one). Bring on next season.

Essex Cup Cancelled
https://www.daggers.co.uk/news/-MEcOUsE3QQEqMQqY9d4 Essex FA have decided to cancel the final this year. Why they couldn't put the match into the pre season schedule I don't know. Sounds like if possible we will won't be taking part in next years tournament because of the fixture schedule we have. C...

Macclesfield Relegated
Apparently Macclesfield have been relegated next season instead of Stevenage. They were given a few points deduction for not paying players wages. Pretty happy with that to be honest as Stevenage had built a good squad for themselves, now for their sake hope that wasn’t all funded by parachute payme...

Re: Elliot Johnson
Can't argue too much with a guy who has played over 200 matches at conference and league level by 25. A quick glance at the twitter post when he said he was leaving suggests Barnet fans liked him.
Another good signing.

Re: Paul Macallum
Fantastic signing. What a statement of intent from us. I do think we need to look at getting someone to put a cross in to him be it winger or wing back. As much as Saunders has the potential to be...well the new Saunders, Isthmian to Conference is quite a jump and we need a backup if he doesn't imme...

Re: Liam Gordon
McCallum would be a really good signing, 14 goals last year for 2 clubs. Seems to want to move back to London if he left Solihull for Barnet. Scored 5 in 7 matches for them before the season ended. Getting a decent scoring rate out of 2 clubs in a season suggests he adapts well.

Re: New 20/21 kit released
I'm happy it feels like our home strip is back again. I was worried it would be too plain but it works. Its the little things like having a properly stitched badge again. In future kits I'm all for experimenting with designs. How do Newcastle and Celtic sell a ton of shirts when they are stuck with ...

Re: West Ham Ladies
According to the West Ham website they had between 1,200 - 1,900 attendance at every home match last season. They get more turn up to a game then we do and to a stadium that isn't the easiest to get to without a car. Moving to the ground makes some sense for them...well it did pre covid.
