Re: Ashes to Ashes.....

A football club is a horrible environment during struggling times and a club revolves around its supporters even more so when being in a Non League status and we are even more justifiably 'backbone' of a football club because we know most of the times we will see more bad days than good but why if w...

Re: NL: Wealdstone (H) 16 December 2023

Its hard three hours on to aprehend how bad has it got to witness that debacle of a showing today, this felt like a white flag surrender and every player seems so deflated, its punishment to the fans of the highest degree and just why isn't anybody up top trying to sort it out sooner rather than lat...

Re: NL: Wealdstone (H) 16 December 2023

What a Christmas present if we somehow could get a win today and a double over the Stones, they've certainly come on a treat sinced that August Bank Holiday game but this has got some real negative feel about it after that Ben interview and within days after a long standing servant leaving to play h...

Re: Daggers Christmas Present

Do what FC Copenhagen done with their fans the other day (after reaching CL knock out stage) a free pint on the house because watching the dross served up this season especially the home ones has certainly tested our sanity!

Re: FA Trophy: Peterborough Sports (H) 9 December 2023

Reading between the lines there's onviously money been cut down this season probably a bit was waivered toward Ben's rebuild at first but must have been very limited and know insight is a wonderful word but at the time strikers like Kendall with youth and to perform a stage lower league level to put...

Re: FA Trophy: Peterborough Sports (H) 9 December 2023

I didn't go either so maybe like one or two others I should bless the train drivers dispute as especially going late to penalties would have had to hitch home. Its downright awful albeit the odd away beating lower sides to simmer our hopes slightly and can anybody ever see it being turned around wit...

Re: FA Cup: Bracknell Town (A) 14 October 2023

Paul McCallum has just written off Reading by two goal brace today and God knows what little Eastleigh gets now for it going into round 3 if Chesterfield bagging 67K going thru to Watford? Amazing the amount of players who leave us and really move up a gear especially in the striker category and mor...

Re: Essex SC: Basildon United (A) 21 November 2023

Sounded a good match from talking to a fan or two yesterday who went with Kendall on fire, maybe to get our daggers fix this term revert to the ESC games more as league especially home games are absolutely dire, boring football and teams who nobble us are not much better. Remember just around the ti...

Re: NL: Solihull Moors (H) 11 Nov 2023

We've got a very good record against the Moors especially at home so long may it continue like today, if we do dare we say were on a bit of a roll? Keep our mindset like the Fleet and Dorking games cannot see why we cant get this one ticked off and with low boys KIddy next week away what more motiva...

Re: NL: Dorking (A) 4 November 2023

Great result today thoroughly deserving and every player showed class to win this game, slightly worrying early on when they came back to even it out but we went up a gear and just hope we can now blow away that drubbing last season. Good support again and shoutout to the White Hart pub pre game and...

Re: NL: Ebbsfleet United (A) 28 October 2023

Somehow you got to keep the faith, and in a strange way like going to Ebbsfleet as its so fast from St Pancras/Stratford and normally we have a good following. Certainly can't feel confident with this one even if the Fleet is as bad so let's try and enjoy a few pints and lay in hope and by 3 they fi...

Re: NL: Boreham Wood (H) 24 Oct 2023

Didn't go tonight but it sounded absolutely shocking perhaps even the worse game yet. We've been sliding in the wrong direction far to long with the odd game or mini run comes along we do a win and perhaps think that's the tonic that we need and get out of it and then next game we completely lose it...

Re: Club Captain

Agree wholeheartily Auntie, if he stays fit now think Tom Eastman would be a good candidate? Big central back lad with a fair few years experience under his belt, hardly ever saw goalkeepers as captains in the earlier decades, but hey look how much the world is changing even within our time.

Re: NL: Woking (H) 21 September 2023

Gosh we do make things hard on grabbing those most valuable 3 points! But at the end don't think ever witnessed the relief and jubilation at grabbing that win than of yesterday. Even Woking when they had 11 players on the field we were very worthy winners, really feel it would have been more comfort...
